Yes, we are happy to install plants you have already bought and provide recommendations on where they should be placed. The most expensive items in a landscape design are soil, mulch, and the size of your plants. To reduce costs consider plants that aren’t as particular about their soil type and go for 5-gallon pots instead of 7-gallon or 15-gallon.

Fees and Payments
How is my pricing determined?
Pricing includes four components – The difficulty of your land, the expertise of the team providing your service, the types of materials and plants you choose, and the scope of the project.
What should you expect to be charged for?
Landscape Consulting
There is a landscape consultation fee. This fee includes an initial consultation with our designer, the drawing of a custom landscape plan with specific details from the consultation, a follow up meeting to review the design and the option to make edits to it as needed, and the delivery of a final revised design.
Seasonal Services
Looking for a comprehensive yard clean up? We’ve got ya! The final price for a yard clean up service will vary depending on the size of your yard, the amount of crew members needed for the project, and the type and amount of debris on the ground.
Custom Landscape Design and Installation
For landscape design and installation projects, you can expect to find in your quote a fee for the landscape design itself. Industry standard by professionals is around $1,000 to $10,000 depending on the project. At Gardens, we do smaller designs for as low as $500. You can find online design services that utilize AI or generic designs for less than $500. These usually don’t produce anything specific to your desires, or region, but are certainly an option if you want to get ideas.
Security Deposits
For installation projects larger than $5,000, we’ll require a 20% security deposit at the time of quote approval in order to kick-off your project and order the necessary materials.
Invoicing and Payments
Invoicing for all projects will be issued upon project completion, with the exception of regular lawn maintenance visits, which will be charged at the end of each month. Invoices are due within 15 days of issuance and will be subjected to a late fee charge past the due date.
We accept ACH, all major credit cards, checks, and Venmo for payments.
